Dr. Tracie Capozzio brings 30+ years of experience in Medical Device (Neurology, FES, Phototherapy, CT, PET, MRI, Telemetry, Sterilization, Monitoring, Emergency Services, Medical Software, Sleep and Respiratory Care). Dr. Capozzio is the Head of Quality for Therapy Platforms at Philips, where she leads global quality strategy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the sleep and respiratory therapy business categories. In this role, she is accountable for ensuring the safety, effectiveness, and compliance of complex medical device portfolios across global markets, working closely with engineering, regulatory affairs, operations, and commercial partners.
With deep expertise in design control, risk management, quality management systems, regulatory inspections, CAPA transformation, and field safety corrective actions, Tracie plays a critical leadership role in supporting market access, sustaining regulatory compliance, and strengthening a culture of quality and accountability. She is highly engaged in compliance readiness and global regulatory authority interactions and is known for driving clear, risk-based decision-making in highly regulated environments.
Tracie is a passionate people leader who leads and develops global teams while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration. She is recognized for balancing operational rigor with strategic leadership and for championing employee engagement, continuous learning, and accountability at all levels of the organization.
She is based at the Philips campus in Ohio and partners closely with senior leaders across the organization to deliver sustainable quality outcomes that support Philips’ mission to improve patient care worldwide.
